We have a modernized, multi-functional gymnasium and two standardized athletic fields. The gymnasium covers 15,000 square meters, serves for sport events such as basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, gymnastics and table tennis, as well as musicals, dramas, acrobatics, and assemblies. It has been chosen as the stadium for the 24th Asian Cup Table Tennis Competition, 2011 China Badminton Club Super League, and the 2010-2011 China College Volleyball Competition.
Dongyuan Athletic Field, covering 150,000 square meters, can seat 15,000 people. It has been the home field of Hunan Team for the 2010 China League One, and the main stadium for the 9th Hunan College Sports 2009. Our swimming pool is among the best ten of Changsha, but is open to the public only in summer.
Our campus is charming with verdant plants and delicate sceneries. You can read in the library, surf the internet in the dormitory, take a walk in the woods, or enjoy the musical fountain at the Central Square. You may even sign up for TV entertaining shows through campus ads.
The university enjoys rich entertaining resources and convenient traffic. At weekends, you can go to Wanda International Cinema at Yuhuating for movies, go to the Orange Karaoke by the gate at South Shaoshan Road, go on a trip in the nearby Provincial Botanic Garden or Nanjiao Park, or visit the famous tourist attractions such as Yuelu Mountain, Provincial Museum and Tianxin Pavilion.
