Small stores and groceries on campus can satisfy your basic daily needs. Several shops selling cheap daily necessities, ornamental articles and clothes are located along a pedestrian street called Orange Block just behind Orange Inn on South Shaoshan Road. Better Life Supermarket, a chain supermarket of Hunan province, is located beside the block. Carrefour, just opposite to the Better Life Supermarket, is in the intersection of Shaoshan Road and Xiangzhang Road. Goods on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Carrefour and several stores dealing in clothes, decorations and local products on the 1^st floor provide a comfortable shopping environment. Another supermarket---RT Mart, a chain store with its headquarters in Taiwan---is hundreds of meters away from the gate on the same road. In addition, Tianhong Shopping Mall with a supermarket near the western campus on South Furong Road is a relatively large one selling luxury brands.
