July 29th, on the China-Japan-KoreaYouth CSR forum,Xin Jie was entitled the "Corporate Social ResponsibilityYouth Ambassadors" by United NationsGlobal CompactChina Network and ChinaYouthDaily jointly.He was also regarded asChinaYouth Ambassador to communicate with Japan, Koreanyouth representatives, participate in the draftingand issuing "CJKYouthconcerned about climateProposal" andintroduce the drafting to the General Assemblyin English.In the afternoon, the newly electedChineseYouth Ambassador, Japan and Koreayouth representatives, Chineseenterprisesrepresentatives andexperts and scholarsgathered together ,attendedthe"Responsibilityto Change the World----the Global CompactChinaPioneer High-end Interview," co-sponsoredby the United Nationsglobal CompactChinanetwork, ChinaYouth Daily, and TencentFinance.They had a deep communication with FuChengyu, chairman of Sinopec, GeorgeCole, vice CEO ofthe United Nations GlobalCompact, Johnny Kwan, senior vicepresident ofBASF Global, and other business representatives, experts and scholars.
July, 30th, Xin Jie was invited to attend the “Ecological Civilization and Beautiful Home---Caring for Climate China Summit”, host by UN Global Compact China Network. The China Youth Proposal of Climate which was drafted by Xin Jie was read out on the forum. The proposal, from youth’s eye, has been watching the course of global environment career, appealing international organizations, governments, enterprises, and the public to keep an eye on climate changes, and encouraging all forces together to improve human beings’ survival habitats through concrete actions. Consequently, the world heard voice of China youth, and embedded the determined and capable images of Chinese youth in minds. Xin Jie also communicated with the former UN under Secretary General and Rio +20 Summit Secretary General Sha zukang, and Sinopec Chairman Fu chengyu, and other guests at present.
It was said that the recruitmentwas supported jointly by China Youth Daily, UN Global Compact China Network, Tencent Finance & Economic, and was co-organized by UN Global Compact, Peking Guanghua Center for Responsibility and Social Values, China Association of College International Exchange. At the same time, it was the first time under “Sea selection” of youth climate represents in China, attracting more than 2000 colleges and hundreds of thousands undergraduates.
