Alumni Association of Central South University of Forestry and Technology is a long-standing organization, when Central South University of Forestry and Technology  alumni from various places spontaneously organized the schoolmates associations to keep connections between themselves and with their Alma Mater. The Alumni Association of Central South University of Forestry and Technology was founded on November 2008. It is registered in Department of Education, and the department of Civil Administration of Hunan Province. With the amount of more than 130,000 students, the alumni of the University have spread to every corner of the world. 

After its establishment, the alumni association actively developed activities, and successively launched the "services alumni, services alma mater, services society" and the Central South University of Forestry and Technology mission " Upon nous and truth, we innovate; For nature and nurture, we cultivate", under the enthusiastic participation of the broad alumni in these activities, which powerfully promoted the development of Central South University of Forestry and Technology undertakings and the restoration of the school work. At present, the Alumni has 64 branch-associations, which include two international branches in Canada and the United States.

Over the recent years, the Alumni Association of Central South University of Forestry and Technology, as the bridge of maintaining connections with broad alumni, has been playing an active role in uniting the alumni, developing alumni resources, promoting the undertakings of the Alma Mater, and spreading the influence of Central South University of Forestry and Technology.
